Terms of Service

Who can use Gadabout

You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding agreement. If you use Gadabout on behalf of an organization, you represent that you’re authorized to accept these Terms for it.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You’re responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.

Your content

You keep ownership of the trips, notes, uploads, and other content you create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you — including sending it to the third-party providers described in our Privacy Policy so features like importing, parsing, and generation can work, and displaying it to people you share it with.

You’re responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use it. Don’t upload content that’s illegal, infringes others’ rights, or that you don’t have permission to share.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service. In particular, don’t attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it; don’t use it to store or share unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; don’t scrape or resell it; and don’t use it in a way that violates others’ rights or applicable law.

Sharing links

Gadabout lets you create links that let others view a trip, plan, or guide. Anyone with the link can see what it points to. You’re responsible for what you choose to share and with whom, and you can revoke links you’ve created.

AI and imported content — accuracy

Gadabout uses automated and AI-assisted features to parse what you paste and to generate suggestions (packing lists, itineraries, maps, and the like). These features can be wrong or incomplete. Travel details — flight times, prices, opening hours, currency conversions, locations, and availability — may be inaccurate or out of date. Always verify important information with the airline, hotel, venue, or official source before relying on it. Gadabout is a planning tool, not a booking agent or a source of truth for travel logistics.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers (hosting, database, maps, AI, and currency rates). We’re not responsible for third-party services, and their own terms may apply.

Service availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service or parts of it. We try to keep Gadabout available but don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that travel information in the Service is accurate, complete, or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gadabout won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or trips arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US $50.

Termination

You can stop using Gadabout and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
